The Doctors at Parkview Dentistry are committed to making sure that you appointments are stress-free. Nitrous oxide is available simply upon request.  Dr. Laskis' own husband gets it for his cleanings so just ask if you are nervous.  If you alert the staff that you are nervous before your appointment the doctors can also prescribe anti-anxiety medication which is very beneficial.  Finally, for implants and other surgery we prescribe IV Sedation and a dental anesthetist will be brought in to sedate you.

Snoring is caused by turbulent airflow vibrating the tissues of the palate (roof of the mouth). Snoring is a common condition that can affect anyone, although it occurs more frequently in men, people who are overweight, with age, and when drinking alcohol and can worsen with poor sleep posture. Snoring has a tendency to worsen with age. Occasional snoring is usually not very serious and is mostly a nuisance for your bed partner. Habitual snorers can be at risk for serious health problems, including obstructive sleep apnea.

At Parkview Dentistry we offer Toothprints® for all of our little patients. Toothprints® is a simple proven means of identifying children, or more importantly, having a clinical DNA and saliva sample to enable rescuers to search for children.

ARESTIN® is an effective antibiotic treatment that comes in powder form. This powder is placed inside infected periodontal pockets just after our hygienist finishes a scaling and root planing (SRP) procedure.
