Verne Willard, DMD

A native of New England, Dr. Verne Willard obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont. He then worked as a periodontal research technician at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, before starting dental school.

Dr. Willard acquired his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1988, a school that is consistently rated as one of the top three schools in the United States. He was the recipient of the Academy of General Dentistry’s award for the most outstanding general dentist in his class of 1988. Following graduation, Dr. Willard completed a general practice residency at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont This hospital-based program covered a broad spectrum of treatment ranging from general dentistry and facial trauma to the administration of general anesthesia in the operating room.

In 1989 Dr. Willard began his own private practice in Vermont. During his years of practice, Dr. Willard has adopted the latest techniques and innovations in the dental industry, attending numerous presentations on both aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. He has maintained his membership in the American Dental Association and its various local chapters and received his Branemark certificate in implant dentistry in 1992.

Dr. Willard moved to Arizona in 1997, practicing first in Scottsdale before setting up his Parkview Dentistry office in Fountain Hills in 2001. Parkview Dentistry offers family dentistry and comprehensive general dental care, with a solid preventative dental perspective as well as having an open door policy to treatment of dental emergencies.
